Our Story

Our family's journey has been shaped by deep challenges and unmistakable grace. We have walked through diagnoses, hospital rooms, therapies, setbacks, and moments of raw fear. Yet in every season, Christ has met us with strength we did not have on our own.

This site exists because we have seen Jesus show up in the hardest nights, in the smallest mercies, and in the moments when we had nothing left but Him. These stories are not polished or perfect — they are real, and they are held together by His faithfulness.

We share our story not because it is easy, but because Christ has been faithful. Our hope is that as you read, you will see the goodness of God in every chapter. Also, as you read our story, you will notice it is filled with placeholders. I am a firm believer in showing 'progress' over 'perfection'. This site is a dynamic work in progress.

Chapters of Our Journey

Below are some of the key moments where we have seen Christ’s hand guiding, sustaining, and blessing our family. Each story is a reminder that God is present, even when the path is difficult.

Impacted By So Many People

As I started working on our story, the first gap that screamed at me was that I didn't have a place to talk about all the people who have contributed to our story. Sue and I and our children have been blessed to be touched by so many people. It would be impossible to do a fair telling of our story without talking about individuals who did so much to contribute to our story. During one draft, I used the word 'everyone'. The reality is, there is no way possible to give credit to everyone, there have been just too many people.
